About
David Kile is an electronic music producer, sound designer, and master’s student at Full Sail University, pursuing a degree in Entertainment Business. With a strong foundation in both the creative and technical sides of music production, David is dedicated to building a career that bridges artistry and entrepreneurship in the world of electronic music.
David’s passion for electronic music began in his early teens, inspired by artists like deadmau5, Skrillex, and Avicii. Drawn to the emotional energy of their sound, he began teaching himself music production using Ableton Live 8, saving up from his job teaching swim lessons to buy his first copy of the software. His curiosity and drive to learn led him to the Audio Production Program at Fort Hayes Career Center in Columbus, Ohio, where he earned ProTools 11 User Certification and developed his technical foundation.
As part of the Berklee City Music Network, David was awarded a full-tuition scholarship to Berklee College of Music, where he dual majored in Music Production & Engineering and Electronic Production & Design. During his five years at Berklee, he honed his craft across composition, sound design, and mixing — with a particular love for analog synthesis and creative sound design. His toolkit includes Ableton Live, ProTools, and an array of analog synths like the Moog One, Prophet Rev2, and Moog Subsequent 37, as well as modular tools such as VCV Rack.
After graduating, David joined Hocking College as the Live Sound & Events Production Manager, overseeing concerts and technical productions. While the role expanded his leadership and organizational skills, it also clarified his long-term vision — to focus on creating and producing music full-time. That realization led him to pursue his master’s at Full Sail University, where he’s gaining the business and entrepreneurial expertise to support his creative goals.
David is currently focused on expanding his professional portfolio, collaborating with other creatives, and preparing to launch his artist brand and production company by July 2026. His work is driven by one central goal: to recreate the emotional connection he first felt when he discovered electronic music — crafting soundscapes that move, inspire, and resonate.
